Transgender woman who describes herself as a ‘satanic anarchist’ won the Republican nomination for sheriff in a county in New Hampshire after showing up on an ‘F *** the police’ platform .
“I can’t imagine them being happy about it,” Aria DiMezzo told Inside Sources when asked about the Republicans’ reaction.
DiMezzo won the GOP nomination for Cheshire County Sheriff on Tuesday night after running unopposed in the party primary.
She won despite the fact that she received no GOP county or state support.
Aria DiMezzo, a transgender woman who describes herself as an anarchist and high priestess of the Satanic Reform Church, won the Republican nomination for sheriff in Cheshire County, New Hampshire on Tuesday.
DiMezzo won after running on a platform that supports the decriminalization of drugs, sex work and illegal immigration
His campaign slogan was “F *** the police”. The local Republican Party said its positions are not in line with the official platform
DiMezzo will have an even more daunting task as she will face a four-term holder, Democrat Eli Rivera.
Cheshire County Republican Party Leader Marylin Huston manhandled DiMezzo as she nicknamed “he” when she offered her congratulations.
“He did really well with the primary and it was wonderful,” said Huston.
DiMezzo is a member of a group of libertarian activists known as the Free Keene group.
During the recent GOP primary for governor, the group backed Rich Paul, who legally changed his name to Person.
No one lost the primary on Tuesday to incumbent Republican President Governor Chris Sununu.
Last year, Nobody lost his candidacy for mayor of Keene.
DiMezzo is the host of an Internet radio show in which she is known as “She-Male”.
Initially, Free Keene started out as an offshoot of the Free State Project of Libertarians, but the Free State Project has since moved away from Free Keene.
According to Huston, DiMezzo ran as a Republican because she was unable to participate in the Libertarian Party ballot.
She signed up to run as a Republican two days before the deadline after learning that Earl Nelson, a longtime GOP candidate, was not running.
Four-term Democrat Sheriff Eli Rivera widely favored for re-election
DiMezzo said she regretted the party did not support her candidacy.
“They are clearly not on my side,” said DiMezzo.
In the town of Rindge, Nelson received more than 200 written votes on Tuesday.
Local Republicans on social media have expressed concerns about DiMezzo’s gender, religious beliefs and political positions.
“The people of Rindge have done a phenomenal job. Very well done, ”said DiMezzo.
Huston denies that there was a coordinated effort to stop DiMezzo from winning the nomination.
“I guess that’s part of the whole political scene,” Huston said.
Huston denies that the GOP is avoiding DiMezzo, although she has raised concerns about his political positions.
“If you look at their social media and their political statements, they really don’t fit the Republican message,” Huston said.
DiMezzo supports ending prosecutions for drug, sex work, illegal immigration and other “victimless” crimes.
DiMezzo posted an image of a ballot that showed she had run unopposed in Tuesday’s GOP primary
She said she is more liberal in many ways compared to her Democratic opponent, Rivera.
“I am more liberal than him,” said DiMezzo.
“There are tons of things people get fined for, arrested for, that actually don’t claim any victims.”
DiMezzo also identifies as a “high priestess” of the Satanic Reformed Church, which describes herself as “an organization dedicated to individual sovereignty and the principle of non-aggression.”
Unlike the Church of Satan, the Reformed Satanic Church does not define itself as a religion.
“We are an anti-religion,” says the organization’s website.
“Religion is authoritarian; we reject any authority claimed to be arbitrary and, at best, backed up by threats of force and violence.
“If one chooses to respect the edicts of this authority, it is his own decision, but this choice essentially belongs to a given person; the usurpation of this sacred choice creates obedience inspired by fear, not respect. ‘
The church adds, “Lucifer is not our god or our king. Lucifer is our example.
“As he refused to obey the arbitrary edicts of an authority, so will we.
“Morality is determined by conscience, not by the hierarchical classification of a decree.
