Third Doctor Who star announced for Aberdeen Comic Con

The fifth, seventh and eighth Time Lords will greet Doctor Who fans when they appear at Comic Con in Aberdeen.

Paul McGann, who played the eighth incarnation of the Doctor, has just joined the line-up which already included the seventh Doctor Sylvester McCoy as well as Peter Davison who played the fifth Doctor in the 80s.

Paul McGann took over the role in 1996 and his character was featured in the TV movie Doctor Who.

The three Doctors traveling to Comic Con Scotland (North East) recently appeared in the episode “The Power of the Doctor” – the final adventure of the Thirteenth Doctor (Jodie Whittaker), as part of the 100th anniversary celebrations of the BBC.

In addition to the three Doctor Who stars, many other actors have already been confirmed for the upcoming celebration of all things TV and film.

Doctor Who, Die Hard and more stars gear up for Aberdeen Comic Con

American actor Mark Boone Jr., known for his television roles as Bobby ‘Elvis’ Munson in Sons Of Anarchy and as Shockley in Die Hard 2, also recently joined the roster.

Dante R. Basco, who played the leader of the Lost Boys in Steven Spielberg’s Hook and voiced Prince Zuko in Avatar: The Last Airbender, will also travel to the Northeast.

Stranger Things’ Alexei (Alec Utgoff) and Ross Marquand who played Red Skull in the films Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame will also attend the Aberdeen event.

Ross, who also played Aaron on The Walking Dead, will be joined by co-star Chandler Riggs who portrayed Carl Grimes in the popular horror drama TV series.

Comic Con Scotland (North East) will return on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 March at P&J Live. Tickets can be purchased here.
