Raggett said: “I’m so thrilled to be working with a brilliant cast and creative team to bring Tom Basden’s timely adaptation of Dario Fo and Franca Rame Accidental death of an anarchist in Sheffield.

“At the heart of this hilarious farce is an excoriating investigation into the abuse of power by the authorities and the seemingly endless cycle of outrage and investigation in which we are trapped. The form is no accident for there has something inherently wacky about the world of alternate facts, scandals and nonsense we live in.”

The show is the first in the renamed Tanya Moiseiwitsch Playhouse, formerly the Studio Theatre. It opens for preview on September 23 with dates through October 15.
